Medicine is a life long learning process, it is the only place where you really can't say I got enough of learning, the only place you never find yourself in point where you know everything. simply it is impossible.
As a medical student, or resident, or even a professor you should never feel that you know it all. If it happens to feel so you should take a step back and take a look at yourself, reconsider your thoughts. Cause feeling so means only one thing you are on the wrong page of the book.
It is ok to feel confident but between confidence and ego is one thin line that can easily get broken.
The difference is that when you are confident about your knowledge you will be always open for a new perspective, open to say that I don't know. Know that it is nothing shameful about not knowing.
A medical worker is someone who is learning as long as the person is alive, the moment the worker says I want to learn no more is practically dead.
You should keep yourself motivated to learn and work, any other field has the luxury of stop practicing the moment the worker leaves the office, for medicine, it isn’t the case. You are a doctor in your school, at the office, in the street, at a bus, on an airplane, you are always a doctor wearing your white coat or not, having your stethoscope in your bucket or leaving it home. You are always a doctor, and you should always learn, read and study.
You should be always ready.

This is so true every medical student should be always ready as you wrote✋❤
